Carolina Pulse ("we," "us," or "our") provides hands-on CPR training in Chapel Hill, NC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or sign up for a class, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you reserve a seat or request group training, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the class you choose, and any deadline or notes you share.
• Payment information. None. We do not take payments through this website and we never ask for card details here.
• Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type for security and reliability.

How we use your information

• To schedule your class and reserve your seat.
• To issue your certification card after you complete the course.
• To contact you about your class, a deadline you told us about, or a question you sent us.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to operate: our website host (Vercel) and our email delivery provider (Resend), which transmits your form submission to us. We also share what is necessary with the American Heart Association Training Center we work under, solely to issue your official eCard, and with anyone else when required by law.

Where your information goes

This website has no customer database. When you submit a form, the information is emailed to us and is not stored on the site. It then lives in our business email account and, briefly, in the delivery logs of our email provider. We keep it for as long as needed to schedule your class, issue and verify your certification, keep accurate business records, and meet legal obligations.

How we contact you

We use your email address and phone number to reply about the class or request you submitted. We do not send marketing texts, and we will not add you to a marketing email list without asking you first.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing anderson@carolinapulsecpr.com. Some records tied to certification or required by law may need to be retained.

Children

Our website is intended for adults. If a minor takes a class, a parent or guardian should handle the registration and provide the contact information.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and the site is served over an encrypted connection. Because we do not store submissions on the website itself, there is no customer database here to breach. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
